The Jacaranda Festival Committee is a small hardworking committee who are dedicated to continuing the traditions of and ensuring that the Jacaranda Festival continues. Our office is run by an enthusiastic and very approachable Festival Manager, Libby Pigg who is a former Jacaranda Princess. The committee meets on the 4th Thursday of the month at 5.30pm at the Grafton Civic Centre. We welcome anyone who has ideas or time to spare to help out in any way. Just come along to our meetings. Our Annual General Meeting is held in February where all committee positions become vacant and are then re-filled. Our final meeting for the year is in November and takes the form of a "what went well", "what can we do better, constructive criticism overview, and general wrap up of the festival". Do you have sharp observations skills? Do you want the chance to win great prizes?
Very soon you will be able get hold of a Spot It Competition Form. From late October you can start browsing the shop fronts around Grafton. Any shop with the Spot It sticker (above) has put an object in their window display that doesn't belong. Can you tell what it is? If you are a business and you would like to participate in the Spot It Competition then download, complete and return the Spot It (Business Participation) Form (below). |
